Through the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese in North America House of Studies, Dr. Christine Cheryl Kerxhalli holds a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) Degree from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in the Eastern Christian focus; a Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree in Applied Orthodox Theology from the University of Balamand, St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology; and, is a graduate of the St. Stephens Program in Applied Orthodox Theology.
Christine’s focus of advanced theological study has been in Eastern Orthodox Christian education with emphasis on Eastern Orthodox Church history, byzantine architecture, iconography and church vestments. Dr. Kerxhalli is also a Byzantine-style Vestment maker and the owner of Philothei which specializes in custom made-to-order Byzantine and Eastern Orthodox Christian Vestments for Priest, Deacons, Altar Servers, and Altar cloths.
